Before running this software, please confirm the tone version used by PD705.
Open PD705, press "SETUP" button to enter the setting interface, select the version to view, the interface is as follows.


Please make sure the Firmware version is 2.02 or above.

How to use.
A: Create a user drum group


1 . Open the software. When you open the software, the default state is New Drum Kit Profile, and create an empty drum kit with the drum kit name
" Newkit"

2 . Click on the New Kit icon, enter the new kit name in the pop-up box and click "OK" to finish creating a new kit.
If you want to create more drum kits, continue to click the New Kit icon (up to 20 user kits can be created). 
3. Modify the name of the new drum set. Double click on the user to modify the drum set name as desired. As shown below.


4. If you need to adjust the drum set order, you can do so by using the "Move Up" and "Move Down" icons in the drum set list. You can also delete unwanted drum sets by using the "Delete" icon.


B: Creating a User Tone Group
1. Create a new User Group


a. Click the "New Tone Group" icon in the Tone List to bring up the Create Tone Group window, enter the tone group name (duplicate tone group name and tone group name are prohibited).
Enter the group name (duplicate group name and group name is not allowed), click "Confirm" to complete the creation and the "Select file to add" selection box will pop up.

2. Adding a User Tone File


First, select the tone group in the Tone List (select the tone group to which you want to add the tone file), and then click

3. Expanding the Tone List
Click the triangle symbol in front of "Tone Group" in the Tone List drop-down list, as follows.


At this point, the list of tones will be expanded and you will see the tones you just added, as follows.


Tip: You can double click "mySound" to modify the sound group name, this grouping is only for the convenience of the user to manage the sound, it does not affect the drum set configuration.
This grouping is only for user-friendly sound management, it does not affect drum set configuration. You can also double click on the sound name to modify the sound name, the modified sound name will be shown in the PD705 sound
The modified sound name will be displayed in the PD705's sound list in the future.
Tip.
Import files can support a variety of audio formats, not only individual sound files, but also PD705 export files

4.Setting the PAD Tones
Select a tone in the Tones list, hold down the left mouse button, and drag it to the appropriate PAD, as follows.


If you are not satisfied with the current set, you can use the "Clear All" button to clear all the PAD settings in the current set.
If you are not satisfied with the current drum set, you can use the "Clear All" button to clear all PAD settings in the current drum set.
*If you are not satisfied with the current PAD, you can use the "Clear All" button to clear all PAD settings in the current kit.


Generate Download Data
After you have set up all the drum set information, click the "Export" icon on the software, a progress bar will pop up when the data is generated.

The user can copy the generated file (pad -content.hppd) to the root directory of the USB stick, and then use the USB stick to import the data into PD705.
Note that the file name of the imported file (pad -content.hppd) cannot be modified, if modified, the PD705 will not recognize the downloaded file.


Tip: The file generated on the software (pad-content.hppd) can be customized (i.e. change pad-content.hppd to myHppdFile.hppd).
However, when you want to import myHppdFile.hppd into PD705, you need to change the name of myHppdFile.hppd to myHppdFile.hppd.

C: Creating a midi group


As shown in the figure, currently in the sound list, click the midi button to switch to the midi list

Select a midi in the midi list, hold down the left mouse button, and drag it to the corresponding PAD

D: Search function

Notes.
1: The maximum length of a drum set name is 13 characters, and only letters, numbers, spaces, underscores, and ligatures can be used in the name.
2: The maximum length of a tone name is 20 characters, and only letters, numbers, spaces, underscores, and ligatures can be used in the name.
3: The maximum length of a single timbre is 345 seconds (current version)
4: When you select a tone, you can use the "Play" button to audition the tone, but the built-in tone does not support auditioning.
5: The maximum number of user drum sets is 20.
