it is the steel drum that it says it is and it comes with all the parts pictures! I'm so glad I ordered it, because it's absolutely perfect for me. it has enough different tones for me to be satisfied. I don't feel like it's big enough to play with the thumb hammers, though, but the thumb hammers come with it so if you can make it work, go ahead.
